What Are Bruises?

Bruises are commonly referred to the blue or black marks which appear on the skin. A bruise can be either hurtful or not. We have tiny blood vessels called capillaries right under our skin. When any part of the body takes a blow or gets a cut, the capillaries burst. The blood than is trapped underneath our skin. And the changes in the blood color give the bruise its appearance. Some bruises can give you a lot of pain, but some you won’t even notice.
